​What is the WOW Fusion?

The WOW fusion device contains twenty 24K gold plated needles each being 0.13mm in diameter. As they are so thin, they make a small trauma without the pain. They are tapered to allow the flow of serum into the skin at the depth where they will be most effective, at the epidermal/dermal junction. This infuses your skin with hydration, vitamins, peptides, minerals and essential ingredients for healthy, rejuvenated and radiant skin.

What are the Results?
The WOW Fusion gives you fantastic glowing, rejuvenated and revitalised skin. You get the benefits of microneedling with the addition of mesotherapy. The microneedling helps to stimulate collagen and elastin for a more youthful looking skin and the WOW Fusion serums hydrate, brighten, stimulate and improve the texture and tone of the skin.

How many treatments do I need?

We recommend a course of 3 to 6 treatments, one every 14 days.
Some people may need more sessions depending on the condition of the skin.
This is also a wonderful treatment to have prior to a special event. We recommend that you have the treatment 4 days in advance or 5 days in advance if having the peel as well.

Are there any side effects?​
​
Mild redness that lasts for a few hours only. Some minimum flaking may occur if you also have the peel.

What is the difference between the Wow Fusion and traditional microneedling?
​
Microneedling is a much more intensive treatment as it penetrates the skin deeper with many more micro punctures. So downtime is longer. The Wow Fusion microneedling stimulates the skin with micro punctures just like traditional microneedling, however, at a shallower depth and its main focus is the delivery of targeted active ingredients capable of addressing various skin concerns at the same time.
Also, with the option of adding the Wow Peel, we will be treating all layers of the skin.

How long does the treatment take?​

Does it hurt?​​
You will feel a mild prickling sensation, but discomfort is minimum.

Do I need to prepare my skin beforehand?
​
Yes, you need to stop any products with an exfoliating or peeling effect, including retinol five to ten days before your appointment.
You should not have had any other cosmetic treatments on your face two to four weeks before your appointment.
You will receive all the information regarding pre and post care when you fill in your consultation form.
